HANOI -- A landslide triggered by prolonged downpours has left at least 14 military personnel dead in central Vietnam's Quang Tri province on Sunday, Vietnam News Agency reported.

SAN FRANCISCO -- Two people were killed in separate shootings in Northern California's Oakland early Sunday, according to the local police.

Officers found a woman dead at the scene with at least one gunshot wound on MacArthur Boulevard at about 1 a.m., authorities said. (US-Oakland-Shooting)

QUITO -- At least four people were killed and three others were injured when two vehicles collided in Mejia, a town south of Ecuador's capital Quito, the integrated emergency service ECU 911 reported on Sunday.
