The 76ers welcomed George Hill for his first game in a Philadelphia uniform, but they were without stars Ben Simmons and Tobias Harris for their home matchup against the Golden State Warriors on Monday.

Simmons (non-COVID illness) and Harris (right knee soreness) were ruled out earlier in the day. Furkan Korkmaz and Mike Scott replaced them in the starting lineup.

Hill, acquired from the Oklahoma City Thunder in a three-team deal on March 25, was cleared for his first game action since Jan. 24. He underwent a procedure on his right thumb in early February.

"I love him with our team," Sixers coach Doc Rivers said. "I'm not excited yet. I just think it's gonna take him some time. We're not going to play him a lot of minutes in a row right now.

"We're just going to try to ease him back in and in another week or so, if nothing happens, obviously, then I think we will be excited. We can see what we can do."

Hill, 34, averaged 11.8 points and 3.1 assists in 14 games for the Thunder this season, close to his career averages of 11.1 and 3.2, respectively. He also has played for the San Antonio Spurs (2008-09 to 2010-11), Indiana Pacers (2011-12 to 2015-16), Utah Jazz (2016-17), Sacramento Kings (2017-18), Cleveland Cavaliers (2017-18 to 2018-19) and Milwaukee Bucks (2018-19 to 2019-20).
