July 31 Hall of Fame Game, Canton, Ohio: Los Angeles Chargers vs. Detroit Lions

August

August 2 Hall of Fame Class of 2025 Enshrinement, Canton, Ohio: Eric Allen, Jaren Allen, Antonio Gates and Sterling Sharpe

August 7 Raiders' first preseason game: at Seattle Seahawks

August 16 Raiders' second preseason game: vs. San Francisco 49ers

August 23 Raiders' final preseason game: at Arizona Cardinals

August 26 Prior to 1 p.m. PT, teams must reduce active rosters to maximum of 53 players

August 27 Practice squads can be established with a maximum of 16 players (17 players if one player qualifies as an International Player)

September 7 Season opener: Raiders at Patriots, 10:00 a.m. PT

September 15 Home opener: Raiders vs. Chargers, 7:00 p.m. PT

October 21-22 Fall League Meeting, New York, New York

November 4 NFL trade deadline, 1 p.m. PT

January 10-12 Wild Card Weekend

January 17-18 Divisional Playoffs

January 25 AFC and NFC Championship Games

February 17 Clubs may franchise/transition tag players beginning today through 1 p.m. PT on March 3

February 23-March 2 NFL Scouting Combine, Lucas Oil Stadium, Indianapolis, Indiana

March 3 Deadline to apply franchise tag, 1 p.m. PT

March 9-11 Clubs are permitted to contact, and enter into contract negotiations with, the certified agents of players who will become unrestricted free agents upon the expiration of their 2024 player contracts at 1 p.m. PT on March 11.

March 11 The 2025 league year begins at 1 p.m. PT. Free agency and trading period opens.

March 29-April 1 Annual League Meeting, Phoenix, Arizona
